"Nancy Hultgren Visits Caverns Several Times Over 50+ Years Period"

Carlsbad Caverns visitor first came to the caverns on a childhood trip in March 1952 on a family trip that meant so very much to her, so much so that many years later she would write and publish a book about that "super" vacation for her family ( and donating a copy to the caverns museum archives, thanks again :)). Then in the 1960s she returned as a newly-wed on her honeymoon with her husband. She made several trips thereafter, including this one in April 2004.

Thanks to Susan McCombs who once again has assisted me in my projects, this time scanning the following pages. Though always busy, she always takes the time to put my project on her priority list and then gets it done Thank you Susan!

Fifty-seven years since you came here as a child, the first of several visits.

Thank you for the great historical research you did for your book, the purchasing of the "original" postcards from EBAY for it, for permitting us to post it on our park's web pages for over five years, and for donating a hardbound copy of your "Childhood Memories" to our park archives/museum.

You certainly have distinguished yourself as a visitors exceptionally interested in Carlsbad Caverns National Park and we appreciate that.
