August 25, 2008--92nd Birthday of National Park Service

The National Park Service is closing in on being 100 years old. How close is it? Today, the NPS turns 92 years old.

So obviously the NPS is no spring chicken (or even an order of chicken tenders, no?). It is a Federal agency with lots of key dates and to help you remember some of those dates, here is a on-line NPS timeline document. See the link below.

When the dialogue box says that I am having a problem with Adobe Reader, I sure am. I had to remove it because I couldn't fix it or replace it. Just click o.k. and the timeline should open up Foxit Reader which I learned about at PC Magazine online. Foxit Reader is about 1/12 the size of Adobe and seems to work o.k. (knock of a wood-like substance)

Close the Google documents document to return to the blog.

Happy NPS Birthday, Everyone. We're looking a lot younger than 92, no? Well, most of us are, aren't we? :D
